Adusta Cowries [Erronea adusta (Lamarck, 1810)] are also known as Dark Brown Onyx Cowries, Tanned Cowries and "Chocolate Beauty". They found in the Indian Ocean along the East Africa coasts of Kenya, Tanzania, and the Mascarene Islands (Mauritius, Reunion and Rodrigues).

In this design we focus on the Ventral side of cowrie shells marked by its Labial Opening and Teeth.
